WWLP NBC 22 in Springfield, Massachusetts was knocked off the air today after a power failure.
"According to Chicopee Electric Light Department (CELD) a squirrel is to blame for the outage. We are working to correct the problem and will bring you the latest information as it becomes available."
During a live Facebook broadcast, anchor Rich Tettemer said that the stations generators did kick in after the power failure, but had issues keeping the station up and running.
