Caitlin Nuclo has joined WFSB CBS 3 in Hartford, Connecticut as a weekend morning anchor and weekday reporter.
"Cait is no stranger to the WFSB family" said WFSB news director Dana Neves in an email to staff, "she interned here in while attending the University of Connecticut, nearly 10 years ago! We’ve been following her career ever since."
Caitlin joined WFSB from News 12 Connecticut where she had been a weekend anchor and reporter since June 2015.
Prior to that, Caitlin spent seven years in Upstate New York as a reporter. She first worked at WBNG CBS 12 in Binghamton, then CNY Central (WSTM NBC 3/WTVH CBS 5/WSTQ CW 6), and later WSYR ABC 9 both in Syracuse.
Her work, including her coverage of the 2009 mass shooting at the American Civic Association in Binghamton, has been honored with a number of awards.
Caitlin grew up in Hamden and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Journalism and Political Science.
Caitlin started at WFSB on April 5.
