FOX 61 announced Margaux Farrell and Carmen Chau will join Tribune Broadcasting's Hartford & New Haven television station as general assignment reporters.

FOX 61 announced Margaux Farrell and Carmen Chau will join Tribune Broadcasting's Hartford & New Haven television station as general assignment reporters.

Farrell begins her new role on Monday, April 10, Chau on April 24, both reporting to Liz Grey Godbout, VP News/News Director.

Margaux FarrellMargaux Farrell was previously the Morning Anchor and Producer for KXVA/Abilene & KIDY/San Angelo, Texas. She also served as a Co-Host of the Women’s 2016 and 2017 Big Ten Swimming and Diving Championships for the Big Ten Network. Farrell, an All-American Swimmer, was a French Olympian and Bronze Medalist in London 2012. She holds a MA in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California and a BA in Journalism from Indiana University.

Carmen ChauCarmen Chau was previously a General Assignment Reporter for WTEN/WXXA in Albany, New York where she covered breaking news. She also served as a Reporter and Weekend Morning Anchor for WHAG in Hagerstown, MD, a reporter for Patch.com in Connecticut and an Anchor and Reporter for News 22 at Eastern Connecticut State University. She holds a MS in Broadcast Journalism from Quinnipiac University and a BS in Communication from Eastern Connecticut State University.
