WFXT is set to launch its re-branded newscasts on Monday.
The station officially announced the change on April 14, but it doesn't look like much more than the name of the newscast is changing.
The new logo squeezes in "Boston" in place of "FOX", but the graphics remain the same. We don't know if the current graphics package will still be used, or if the screen captures we obtained were just for testing purposes.
WFXT launched a redesigned logo in 2015, about a year after Cox Media Group took over the station from FOX in 2014. The new logo was criticized at the time, and the modified logo might receive the same criticism now.
