Amanda Keane has joined WGGB ABC 40/FOX 6 & WSHM CBS 3 (Western Mass News) as a multimedia journalist.
Amanda joins Western Mass News from WAGM CBS/FOX 8 in Presque Isle, Maine where she had been a reporter since August 2015.
"In the last year and a half I have interviewed a Presidential Candidate, The president-elect’s son, multiple senators, a congressman, a congressional candidate and covered a presidential campaign rally" Amanda said on her Instagram page.
"I am grateful to WAGM for giving me an opportunity to learn and grow in the business. I got to report news, politics, and features. I shot my stories solo, anchored shows and produced web and social media content. I even reported sports and anchored sports in our 6pm show. I had my hand in everything here and I loved it" she said.
Amanda has also interned at WPRI CBS 12 in Providence, Rhode Island; and at both WCVB ABC 5 and Greater Media radio in Boston.
A Massachusetts native, Amanda is a 2015 graduate of Roger Williams University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.
Amanda started at Western Mass News on Monday.
