Caroline Goggin is joining WPRI CBS 12/WNAC FOX 64 in Providence, Rhode Island as a reporter.

Caroline Goggin is joining WPRI CBS 12/WNAC FOX 64 in Providence, Rhode Island as a reporter.

"I am thrilled to announce my career is taking me to New England!" Caroline said in a post on Facebook. "In just a couple weeks, I'll begin working as a reporter for WPRI in Providence, Rhode Island. I'm very excited for this next step, to get back out in the field, and to explore all this beautiful area of the Northeast has to offer."

Caroline joins WPRI from WNBG CBS 12 in Binghamton, New York where she was a weekday evening anchor and reporter since June 2014.

Caroline started her news career during her senior year of high school, as a participant in the KYW Newsradio "Newsstudies" program. She then went on to intern for the Preston and Steve Morning Show, ABC27 in Harrisburg, the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, and CBS3 in Philadelphia.

During her time at Penn State, Caroline was involved in both television and radio. She served as a reporter for Penn State's "Centre County Report". Two of her pieces for the show placed in the Society of Professional Journalist's regional competition. In radio, Caroline worked as a news reporter, anchor, producer, and eventually general manager of ComRadio, Penn State's student radio station.

A native of West Chester, Pennsylvania, Caroline is a 2014 graduate of Penn State University where she achieved a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.
