Rosie Woods is joining WPRI-TV CBS 12/WNAC-TV FOX 64 (FOX Providence) as a reporter, New England One has learned.
Rosie comes to WPRI from WBND-LD ABC 57 in South Bend, IN where she had been a morning reporter and multimedia journalist since August 2014.
Before joining WBND, Rosie was a morning anchor and producer for KMVT-TV CBS 11/KSVT-TV FOX 14 in Twin Falls, ID. While there, she produced and anchored the 5:30am-7am and noon newscasts, and also put packages together for the evening newscasts.
Before starting her professional career in television news, Rosie spent time in promotions for both Clear Channel radio, and iHeartRadio. She has also interned at New England Cable News, and at WXKS-FM Kiss 108 in Boston.
A native of Milton, MA, Rosie is a 2013 graduate of Boston University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and sociology.
Rosie started at WPRI on January 11.
