WPRI-TV, Channel 12, has announced that anchor Susan Roberts is no longer employed at the station.
Channel 12 executives did not give the reason for her departure. Roberts has not been on the air for at least a month.
Roberts came to Channel 12 in January 2011, to replace longtime anchor Karen Adams, who retired. Roberts joined WPRI from the CBS network's NewPath operation, which provided reports to network affiliates around the country.
Roberts is a native of Grosse Point, MI.
