Joe Glauber has joined WMTW ABC 8 in Portland, Maine as a weekend morning anchor and a weekday evening reporter.
Joe joined WMTW from WGGB ABC 40/FOX 6 and WSHM CBS 3 (Western Mass News) in Springfield, Massachusetts. Throughout his four years in Springfield, Joe was a fulltime news producer, while also serving as the station's sports anchor and a general assignment reporter.
Before getting started in local news, Joe worked for the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, or MASN, in Baltimore, Maryland. He covered the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals as a Web Reporter and Social Media Specialist.
A native of Syracuse, New York, Joe earned a Master's degree at the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, after graduating with a Bachelor's degree from Geneseo State University in Upstate New York.
Though he began his career in sports journalism, Joe discovered a passion for news and telling stories that matter to viewers.
Joe started at WMTW in April.
