Cory Froomkin is joining WCSH NBC 6 in Portland, Maine as a meteorologist.
Cory comes to WCSH from WKBN CBS/FOX 27 and WYTV ABC 33 in Youngstown, Ohio where he has been the weekend meteorologist since 2013.
"I have some bittersweet, but exciting news to share with all of you. After three years at WKBN, I have accepted a full time meteorologist position at a station in Portland, Maine" Cory said on his Facebook page.
"This wasn't an easy decision, but I know it's one that'll help me grow my career even more. I am so thankful to management, the producers, the directors, and to everyone else behind the scenes who work very hard to make great Youngstown television each and every single day."
Cory's last day at WKBN is May 22.
