Meredith's WFSB-TV CBS 3 in Hartford, CT debuted its new set on Thursday. It was set to debut on Monday, but was pushed back so the station could concentrate on storm coverage due to the Blizzard of 2015.
The new set, designed by FX Design Group, includes a new anchor desk with two LED televisions in the front. Behind the anchor desk is a 3x3 LED monitor wall. The set also includes a new weather center, traffic area and several standup areas. The walls of the entire set are lit with color changing LED lights.
In addition to the new set, WFSB also debuted a new news logo, graphics and music for a complete makeover.
WFSB is now using the graphics package that CBS owned and operated stations use. Their music package has also been updated to the "CBS Enforcer" series music that the CBS O&O's also use. Their old music package was integrated slightly into the new music package, so parts of it may sound familiar.
