Hartford's WFSB CBS 3 is adding political reporter Susan Raff to its Sunday public affairs program Face the State.

"Channel 3 Eyewitness News is excited to announce the addition of Susan Raff to Face the State. Raff will join Dennis House as co-anchor of the critically acclaimed Sunday morning political show. Her first show will be September 4th at 11AM on WFSB Channel 3."

Susan joined the Eyewitness News team in 1995. Susan has covered Connecticut politics for over 20 years and spends much of her time at the State Capitol. The 2012 and 2013 legislative sessions were some of the most monumental ever.

From abolishing the death penalty and medical marijuana to Sunday liquor sales and a bi-partisan agreement on the toughest gun laws in the country Susan Raff was there to bring you the stories. Susan was on the campaign trail covering the Governor's race as well as one of the hottest and most expensive senate races ever between Linda McMahon and Richard Blumenthal. Susan also brought us live reports from New Hampshire when Senator Dodd decided to run for President.

“Susan is a seasoned political and investigative reporter” said WFSB-TV vice president and general manager Klarn DePalma. Her many skills will be a valuable asset to Face the State”

Face the State airs Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. on WFSB.
