Eva Zymaris has joined WFSB CBS 3 in Hartford, Connecticut as a general assignment reporter.
During her time in Western Massachusetts, Eva has been able to cover a vast variety of stories - including, Ebola preparedness in local hospitals, winter's impact on Western Mass residents, and Springfield's initiatives to combat crime in the city.
A native of Ridgewood, New Jersey, Eva is a 2014 graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications where she majored in broadcast and digital journalism. During college, she served as news director, producer, and on-air talent at Syracuse's student run radio station WJPZ-FM.
She also hosted and produced Orange State, a news and political talk show; The Red Carpet Report, an entertainment and popular culture show; and The Z Morning Zoo, a four-hour morning talk show. She's also interned for NBC's Today Show, and worked at SiriusXM as a production assistant.
