Cheri Hardmon is joining WFSB CBS 3 in Hartford, Connecticut as a reporter.
Cheri comes to WFSB from WWMT CBS 3 in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she was most recently a reporter and fill-in news anchor.
Prior to WWMT, Cheri was a reporter and news anchor at Meredith Corp. sister-station WNEM CBS 5 in Saginaw, Michigan.
Before that, she was the lead reporter for Minnesota Vikings coverage, and a sideline reporter for Minnesota Twins and Lynx games at FOX Sports North in Minneapolis.
Cheri has also been a sports reporter and fill-in anchor at WDJT CBS 58 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; a news writer at WXYZ ABC 7 in Detroit, Michigan; and a sports reporter and anchor at WKBN CBS 27 in Youngstown, OH.
Cheri was born in Indiana and raised in Belleville, Michigan. She is a graduate of Wayne State University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.
Cheri starts at WFSB in late May.
