"After a year and a half at NH1 News, it's time for me to say "see you later" and turn to the next chapter" Tyler announced.

"I was very lucky to work for a brand new company that took on this rapidly changing business with the latest in broadcast technology. On my first day, our studio was empty and there wasn't a camera in the building - it's incredible to see how much has changed since and I am proud to have been a small part of the original team to launch our newscasts" he said.

Tyler added "I can't wait to get back to a state I came to love while in college and to join a station that excels in journalism and storytelling."

Tyler joined NH1 News in July 2014 as a reporter and multimedia journalist.

Tyler spent time in radio during college, and worked at WCAP-AM, in New Hampshire at WSMN-AM and WFNQ-FM, and in Vermont at WGMT-FM. He also freelanced in high school and college for The Lowell Sun, The Valley Dispatch and The Caledonian-Record.

In 2007, Tyler was chosen to be a Boston-based correspondent for "Teen Kids News," an international 1/2 hour weekly news program for kids. He worked his way up to be a regular on the anchor desk and often led the weekly broadcast’s Top Story segment. His work on the show earned him four local Emmy nominations between 2011 and 2013, and he won his first in 2013.

A native of Dracut, MA, Tyler is a graduate of Lyndon State College in Vermont where he earned a Bachelor's degree in electronic journalism art. While in college he worked at News 7, Lyndon's student run television station, and also interned at WHDH-TV in Boston for a summer.
