Louisa Moller is joining WBZ-TV CBS 4 in Boston as a freelance reporter, New England One has learned.

Louisa joins WBZ from WTIC-TV FOX 61 in Hartford, CT where she has been a general assignment and investigative reporter for the past three years. During her time at FOX CT, she reported on some of Connecticut’s and the nation’s most talked about stories. She reported live from the scene and provided continuing coverage of both the tragic Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting in 2012 and the Boston Marathon Bombings in 2013. In her investigative reporting, she uncovered an interesting exception in the State’s controversial gun law allowing for the purchase, sale, and transfer of assault weapons. Reporting on the Affordable Care Act, she revealed that Connecticut’s health insurance exchange was flawed throughout its first month. She also exposed structural issues in the State and Federal Departments of Veterans Affairs.

Prior to joining FOX CT, Louisa was a video journalist at WFFF-TV FOX 44/WVNY-TV ABC 22 in Burlington, VT. While there, she got her first taste of investigative reporting by uncovering allegations of fraud and abuse in a Federal Job Corps program. She also provided in-depth coverage of missing New Hampshire girl, Celina Cass; the landmark trial over nuclear power in Vermont; and the wide spread damage caused by Tropical Storm Irene.

Louisa started her broadcast journalism career at WTHI-TV CBS/FOX 10 in Terre Haute, IN as a video journalist. She has also interned at WCVB-TV in Boston; WPRI-TV in Providence; and the London Daily Mail in the United Kingdom.

A native of Bedminster, NJ, Louisa is a 2009 graduate of Boston College where she earned a Bachelor's degree in communications.
