Céline McArthur has joined the New Hampshire 1 News Network as an investigative reporter.

Céline joins NH1 after being a strategic communications consultant at her own firm based in Jacksonville, FL. In addition, she also operated her own investigative journalism blog: www.CelineMcArthurInvestigated.com. Prior to that, she was the associate vice president of strategic communications for Florida State College at Jacksonville.

Before joining the public relations field in 2009, Céline was a news anchor and chief investigative reporter for Cox Media Group's Action News duopoly WFOX-TV FOX 30 (then WAWS-TV) & WJAX-TV CBS 47 (then WTEV-TV) in Jacksonville. Since joining Action News in 2000, Céline produced investigative reports on local consumer, safety and health issues and the weekly FOX 30 Sex Offender Alert.

While at Action News, Céline won the Florida Associated Press Award for “Best Continuing Coverage” for her investigation into a mystery skin disease. She was also the recipient of the “Outstanding Contribution to Criminal Justice” award in 2001, given to her by then Governor Jeb Bush.

In 2004, Céline left Action News to join KVUE-TV in Austin, TX as their medical news reporter. She returned to her position in Jacksonville a year later.

Céline has also worked as a news anchor at WBRE-TV/WYOU-TV in Scranton, PA; and WICZ-TV in Binghamton, NY.

Céline is a graduate of Boston University where she earned her Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. She also achieved a Master's degree in broadcast journalism and public policy from American University in Washington, D.C.

Céline started at NH1 last week.
