The ratings results are in for the Boston market in April, just ahead of the crucial May Sweeps period.
The wins were split across the Adults 25-54 demographic, while WCVB won the total households and persons 2+ demographic across all newscasts.
Here are the highlights in the A25-54 demo compared to February Sweeps:
- Mornings remain dominated by WFXT & WCVB, each taking turns at the #1 spot during different time slots
- The noon newscast was a virtual dead heat between WHDH & WCVB, with the technical win going to WHDH
- WFXT continues to dominate at 10pm vs. WBZ's newscast on WSBK & WHDH's newscast on WLVI
- WHDH takes the win at 11pm, WFXT comes in second
