It's convention time in Campaign 2016, and the Boston stations are providing full coverage at both the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, and the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

It's convention time in Campaign 2016, and the Boston stations are providing full coverage at both the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, and the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

The RNC in Cleveland will be held July 18 through 21, with the DNC in Philadelphia taking place the following week from July 25 through 28.

New England One asked all five Boston news stations what their plans were, and here is how they are covering the conventions.

WBZ

WBZ CBS 4: Anchor Paula Ebben will be reporting live from the Republican Convention all week. Anchor Liam Martin takes over for the Democatic Convention the following week.

 

WCVB

WCVB ABC 5: Anchor Maria Stephanos will be live from the Republican Convention starting on Sunday.

Anchor Ed Harding will reporting live in Philadelphia from the Democratic Convention the following week.

WCVB’s complete coverage will air during NewsCenter 5’s morning, evening and late newscasts, as well as The 10 O'Clock News on MeTV Boston. 

The station tells us that continuous updates will be provided on wcvb.com and the WCVB mobile app with exclusive written reports, photos and videos.

 

WHDH

WHDH NBC 7: Reporters Dan Hausle and Tim Caputo will be reporting live from the Republican Convention all week starting on Sunday.

Reporter Byron Barnett takes over at the Democratic Convention and will report live from Philadelphia all week.

 

WFXT

WFXT FOX 25: FOX 25 will have a local presence around the clock in all newscasts at both conventions. Anchor Blair Miller and political reporter Sharman Sacchetti will be traveling to both Cleveland and Philadelphia.

The station tells us that Blair "will be live each morning on FOX25 Morning News, following every development and looking ahead at what to expect coming up each day." Sharman "will be live each evening with breaking developments as they unfold along with all of the big interviews and her expert perspective."

 

NECN

Necn: New England Cable News political correspondent Alison King will be attending both conventions with a producer and photographer.

Necn tells us that they will be working with NBC Owned Television Stations and NBC News as well, and will have extended political coverage from both sites and in New England.
