Courtney Fallon has joined WFXT-TV FOX 25 in Boston as a sports reporter and anchor, the station tells New England One.

Courtney comes to FOX 25 from SportsNet New York in New York City where she had been an on-air host since July 2015. While in New York City, she was also an on-air host for the "Bleacher Report," and for the "MeetingInTheCity*" sports radio podcast. Prior to that, Courtney worked as a 2015 NFL Draft Correspondent for the NFL Network in Chicago, IL; and as a college football sideline reporter for CBS.

Courtney spent two years in Miami, FL as a sports anchor and reporter for WTVJ-TV NBC 6. While there, she provided coverage of the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat, University of Miami football and basketball, Florida Panthers, and the Miami Marlins. She also hosted "Sports Final," NBC 6's Sunday night sports program.

Courtney got her on-air start in television news at WLNE-TV ABC 6 in Providence, RI as a weekend sports anchor and reporter. Before that, she was a news writer at WHDH-TV in Boston.

Courtney also spent time at WBZ-FM 98.5 "The Sports Hub" as a sports headlines anchor and producer; and has interned at WTEM-AM ESPN Radio in Washington, DC, and at Sirius/XM Satellite Radio in New York City.

A native of Boston, Courtney is a 2009 graduate of the University of Maryland College Park where she earned a Bachelor's degree in communication and media studies, as well as a degree in Spanish.

Courtney started at FOX 25 on February 26.
