Julie Loncich is joining WBZ-TV as a general assignment reporter. Julie comes to WBZ News from WCVB NewsCenter 5 where she has been a freelance general assignment reporter since 2013.
Previously, Julie worked as a reporter at New England Cable News in Boston, WXIN-TV FOX 59 in Indianapolis, IN, and as reporter and anchor at WBTW-TV CBS 13 in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Julie began her television news career at WPRI-TV CBS 12 in Providence, RI as an assignment editor and field producer.
A native of Cape Cod, Julie is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she studied journalism. She also studied at Oxford University in England and the University of Granada in Spain.
An avid traveler, Loncich has visited nearly a dozen countries. She resides in Boston with her husband.
