Chris McKinnon is joining CBS Boston's WBZ-TV as a reporter.
Chris comes to WBZ from KWTV News 9 in Oklahoma City, OK were he has been a general assignment reporter since October 2011. Chris is a New England native and is coming home to Boston.
Prior to KWTV, he was a anchor/reporter for KREX-TV in Grand Junction, CO. He has also worked at USC's Annenberg TV News during college and has interned at SiriusXM Radio.
Chris is a 2009 graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. Chris says reporting is his dream profession because he gets to meets new people and see new places every day.
During his free time you can catch Chris cheering on the USC Trojans or watching a hockey game. He enjoys playing a pick-up game of hockey or tennis match and is a self-proclaimed "foodie."
