They are two of Boston's most well-known television personalities and are reuniting once again on Boston's air waves.

Legendary news anchor, Susan Wornick, who recently stepped down from WCVB's anchor desk last March, and her former husband and longtime TV sportscaster, Bob Lobel, are pairing up to serve as the "faces" of MeTV Boston, WCVB's digital channel 5.2, announced Bill Fine, WCVB President and General Manager.

Starting this week, Wornick and Lobel will be featured in largely improvised comedy bits called "MeTV Talk" between MeTV's classic sitcoms and dramas to help promote the channel.

"Susan and Bob are both beloved local television personalities and have great chemistry both on and off the air," said WCVB-TV President and General Manager Bill Fine. "The interstitials really capture the quick wit, bantering and good natured ribbing the couple is known for. We think our viewers will love seeing them together again, it's like they haven't skipped a beat."

"I am so excited to be working with Bobby again. He is smart and funny, and he laughs at most of my jokes," mused Wornick.

"People are asking me all the time now, Who’s the girl with the dog?" quipped Lobel, referring to the frequent cameo appearances made by Susan’s dog Sammy.

"Susan and Bob are a great fit to help promote MeTV - our 'memorable entertainment television' channel.

They are familiar faces, especially to the baby boomer generation who grew up watching the pair on Channel 5 and are the target audience of the classic TV sitcoms, dramas, westerns and sci-fi programs in the MeTV Network library," continued Fine.
