1. What kind of phone do you have, and what are your favorite apps?
I have two iPhone 5's... I love Twitter, Facebook, and the NECN news app! Our news app has our hourly weather reports and radar! It's key for planning my outfits! (I'm not just plugging it... I really like it!)

I also just joined Periscope. Although, I haven't actually done a periscope broadcast yet. I just creep on other people's. I'll have to broadcast something soon!

2. Favorite and least favorite news topics to cover (besides violent crime)?
My favorite news topic to cover is anything that brings joy to our viewers. A good feature that can make you laugh or warm your heart is always my favorite!

My least favorite is having to talk to people who just lost a loved one. That's always hard.

3. If you weren't working in TV news, what would you be doing?
If I could sing, I would be a country star. Alas, I have a terrible singing voice! Haha
Honestly, I love to write. My favorite part of my job is writing a package. I love collecting great sound and piecing it all together. So, I'd have to be a magazine or blog writer if I wasn't in TV news.

4. What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
Anything that involved a Disney Princess! My childhood dream was to be Belle at Disney World!

5. When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
Free time doesn't exist with a 4 month old! That being said, I love nothing more than hanging out with my husband, son, and Shih Tzu Buddy! We are TV addicts who watch a ton of shows. So catching up on our DVR with them brings me a lot of joy!

6. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
I LOVE to travel! I've been blessed to have done a good amount of it. So far my favorites have been visiting the pyramids in Egypt, sailing through the Greek Islands, and eating all the amazing food in Italy and France. Next on my list is Portugal and the Azores! I'm Portuguese on my mom's side. I've always wanted to visit the islands, Lisbon, and Algarve.

7. Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?
I'd love to have dinner with Meredith Viera! I've always admired her ability to be real on the news! Her personality allows her to be respected, but still get away with sassy jokes. I think she'd have great advice and make the dinner party extra fun!

8. Do you collect anything?
 Dresses, bags, and jewelry!

9. What are the top 3 played songs on your iPod?
Anything by Pat Green, Bruno Mars, or Michael Buble. Lately, I've been listening to a lot of talk radio though.

10. What is one of your favorite quotes?
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." - Eleanor Roosevelt

11. What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?
Having my son has definitely made me a stronger person. He is such an incredible little boy. I'm constantly amazed by him. He's opened my eyes to how much I'm capable of. I have a clearer perspective now. My goal is to make him proud.
