Joe Joyce is the chief meteorologist at the New Hampshire 1 News Network, where he has been since March 30 of this year.
He joined NH1 from New England Cable News where he the past two years as the mid-day meteorologist during his second stint at NECN. Prior to that, he spent 3 years at WBZ-TV CBS 4 as a meteorologist and environmental reporter. Before WBZ, Joe spent almost 13 years as a weekend and weekday meteorologist at NECN. He also spent 2 years at WVII-TV ABC 7 in Bangor, ME.
A native of West Chester, PA, Joe is a 1995 graduate of Syracuse University where received a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. He is also a 2001 graduate of Mississippi State University where he received a Bachelor's degree in broadcast meteorology. In addition, he received a certificate in graphic and web design from American International College in 2009.

5. When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
Playing my Ukulele or playing with my 4 Children
6. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
Tough question. There is so much to see and explore. Either Hawaii for adventure or Italy for culture.
7. Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?
My wife Jennifer, as we do not get out very often.
8. Do you collect anything?
I have a small collection of musical instruments from around the world. Mandolin, Didgeridoo, Zen Tambour, Steel drum, Rain sticks, Percussions, Guitars

This Chokes me up EVERY time it is sung. I am so grateful for the sacrifice, courage, and patriotism from those who came before us and those who continue to work to make America great today.
11. What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?
It was the worst week of my life. In a span of seven days, I was hit head on by a drunk driver and was almost killed. 2 days later, my father died. Then to put the icing on the cake…I was released from my job.
It was a very stressful time. I focused on positive energy, breathing and staying at peace. Believing everything would come around. Thankfully, my family is still standing. But the fight for survival and greatness in this all too short life continues.
