German home-shopping broadcaster QVC will offer its sister channel QVC Beauty & Style in high definition from November 1, 2014.
QVC Beauty & Style HD will be available unencrypted via satellite on Astra (19.2° East) on the frequency 10.964 GHz H (SR 22,000, FEC 2/3). The encoding and uplink to the satellite will be handled by technical service provider SES Platform Services.
Besides its main channel QVC and QVC Plus, QVC Beauty & Style will QVC Deutschland’s third channel provided in HD quality.
With products from the areas of fashion, shoes, accessories, beauty, cosmetics and food supplements, QVC Beauty & Style targets a female audience.
