Adam Bagni is a reporter for WJAR-TV NBC 10 in Providence, and covers Bristol County Massachusetts out of the stations New Bedford, MA bureau. Adam also occasionally appears on air as a sports anchor and reporter, a position he held before moving to news in 2014.

Prior to joining NBC 10, Adam spent a year as a flash anchor on WEEI Sports Talk Radio 93.7FM in Boston. Before that, he spent 3 years in Montgomery, AL as the sports director for WNCF-TV ABC 32. Adam has also worked behind the scenes in sports television for NESN, ESPN, FOX Sports, and at NBC for the 2006 Olympics.

A native of Taunton, MA, Adam is a 2007 graduate of La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA where he studied journalism and mass communication.

1. What kind of phone do you have, and what are your favorite apps?
 Droid Ultra – Uber, Twitter, SportsCenter

2. Favorite and least favorite news topics to cover (besides violent crime)?
 Favorite – Breaking News, Sports, Features
 Least – Car Crashes, Politics, Crimes against children

3. If you weren't working in TV news, what would you be doing?
 Either a lawyer, politician, or FBI agent.

4. What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
 Doug

5. When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
 Does this exist?  Spend time w/ my family and fiancée.

6. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
 Australia.  I’ve never been there and there’s no language barrier.

7. Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?
 Family members that have passed.

8. Do you collect anything?
 Various sporting memorabilia – but nothing serious.

9. What are the top 3 played songs on your iPod?
 Superstition
 Thriller
 Uptown Funk…for a new one.

10. What is one of your favorite quotes?
 "You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life." - Winston Churchill

11. What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?
 Asking my fiancée to marry me. I really won out in that department!
