Management Changes at WHDH/WLVI Boston

 

We told you in June that Sunbeam television promoted WHDH/WLVI director of sales Robert "Bubba" Burns to vice president/general manager of both stations after Chris Wayland was upped to execitive VP and GM of Sunbeam.

Today, Sunbeam announced additional management changes to fill spots left open by promoting within.

Burns will be succeeded as sales director by Paul Magnes, the current WHDH local sales manager.

Marcy Burt McCauley, former local sales manager for WLVI, becomes local sales manager for WHDH.

Jennifer Howe MacDermott, an account executive for WHDH, has been elevated to local sales manager of WLVI.

Charles Shiebler, also an account executive for WHDH, has been named national sales manager for WLVI.

“As I move to the corporate offices of Sunbeam Television, I am excited that we have Bubba Burns and a strong management team leading the Boston stations into the future,” Wayland said in a press release.

All changes are effective September 1.
