Courtney Kabot has joined Sinclair's WGME-TV CBS 13 in Portland, ME as a news anchor on both WGME and WPFO-TV FOX 23.
Courtney will anchor Good Day Maine from 4:30-7:00am on CBS 13 and from 7-8 a.m. on FOX 23.
Courtney comes to WGME from Hearst's WPTZ-TV NBC 5 in Burlington, VT where she was the morning anchor and health reporter. Previously, she was an anchor/producer at Gray Television's KFYR-TV NBC 5 in Bismarck, ND. She has also been a production assistant, as well as an intern, at Tribune Media's KTLA-TV CW 5 in Los Angeles, CA.
Previous to her broadcast career, Courtney also worked in public relations and business development.
A native of Syracuse, NY, Courtney is a 2005 graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA where she earned a Bachelor's degree in communications and public relations. She is also a 2009 graduate of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles where she attained a Master's in broadcast journalism.
Courtney started at WGME on December 9, and starts on Good Day Maine this Monday.
