Madeleine Wright has joined WPLG ABC 10 in Miami, Florida as a general assignment reporter.
Madeleine joined WPLG from WPRI CBS 12/WNAC FOX 64 in Providence, Rhode Island where she had been a multimedia journalist for three years.
Prior to that, Madeleine spent two years as a reporter for WNCT-TV in Greenville, North Carolina.
She began her on-air career at WSJV-TV in South Bend, Indiana.
Madeleine graduated from Northwestern University with a major in broadcast journalism and a minor in Spanish. During her junior year of college, she lived for three months in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she reported on-air for eNews Channel Africa.
In her spare time, Madeleine enjoys photography, hiking and traveling. She was born and raised in Queens, New York, but is excited to call the Sunshine State home.
Madeleine started at WPLG in March.
