Josh Scheinblum has joined KCRG ABC 9 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as chief investigative reporter.

"Hi everyone, I have some personal news to share. This past week was my last week as a member of the WTNH News 8 team" Josh posted on his Facebook page on December 14.

"Please know it has been an honor and a privilege to report the news and tell stories that matter in the beautiful state of Connecticut, where I was born and raised, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for welcoming me into your homes. At News 8 I have worked with among the most talented group of news professionals in the entire country, especially photojournalists, and I will be forever grateful for what we have been able to accomplish together. Moving forward, my wife and I will soon be moving with our son and fur babies back to where we met and fell in love; Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Iowa is also where my wife was born and raised. It is there I have accepted a job as the new Chief Investigative Reporter at KCRG-TV9. I will also be doing some anchoring too. All of these good things, combined with the fact I’ll be able to once again cheer on my University of Iowa Hawkeyes in person has me excited for our future. I sincerely thank you for your continued support, please know my family and I truly appreciate it. God bless you all."
