WYFF 4, Hearst Television’s NBC affiliate announces a new anchor team will bring the weekend evening news to viewers in the Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Asheville - South Carolina television market.
Ashley Swann will anchor WYFF News 4 at 6 and 11 p.m. on Saturdays. On Sunday evenings, Mike McCormick will join Ashley as co-anchor. WYFF 4 meteorologist Chris Justus and sports anchor Marc Dopher round out the weekend evening news team.
In addition to anchoring weekends, Swann will report weekdays for WYFF News 4. Swann comes to WYFF 4, most recently from WSB in Atlanta, where she was a free-lance reporter. She interned with WYFF News 4 when she began her career. She has been evening anchor in Clarksburg, W.V., and a morning anchor in Richmond, Va.

I know Ashley is a very talented reporter and anchor who shares our commitment to reporting local news that matters to viewers. Ashley and Mike will make a great team on Sunday evening newscasts.”
Mike McCormick has been with WYFF News 4 in the Spartanburg Bureau for more than seven years. In addition to his Sunday evening anchor duties, Mike will continue reporting from Spartanburg during the week.
