Bryan Salmond has joined WFMZ-TV 69 News in Allentown, Pennsylvania as Sports Director, New England One has learned.

Bryan joins WFMZ-TV from Boston's WFXT-TV FOX 25, where he served as a sports anchor and reporter for nearly one year. While in Boston, Bryan covered the New England Patriots victory against the Seattle Seahawks at Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale, Arizona. He also spent time covering the Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics.

Bryan joined FOX 25 from WWL-TV CBS 4 in New Orleans, LA where he was a sports anchor and reporter. In his role at WWL, he anchored weekend sportscasts, contributed to sports show 'Fourth Down on Four,' anchored football coverage on 'Fourth Down Friday' and contributed to WWLTV.com and other sports programming.

During his time in New Orleans, Bryan also had the pleasure of covering his first Super Bowl and NCAA Final Four, plus another NBA All-Star game.

Prior to joining to WWL, Bryan was the regional sports director for KEZI-TV ABC 9 in Eugene, OR as well as KDRV-TV ABC 12 in Medford, OR. While there, he planned and executed coverage of two Pac-12 schools, Oregon and Oregon State, as well as high school football and basketball coverage.

Bryan has also worked as a weekend sports anchor at KTNV-TV ABC 13 in Las Vegas, NV. He also covered sports for KBTV-TV FOX 4 in Beaumont, TX and for KPAX-TV CBS 8 in Missoula, MT.

Bryan's television career began behind the scenes in production at CNN Sports Illustrated in Atlanta, GA. After 3 years there, he decided to make the move to sports reporting in front of the camera and made the move to Montana.

A native of California's Bay Area, Bryan is a graduate of Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA where he studied communications.
