Megan Alexander has been named a Special Correspondent for CBS Newspath, the Network’s 24-hour television newsgathering service for CBS stations and broadcasters around the world.

In addition to her role at CBS Newspath, Alexander will continue to report for INSIDE EDITION, television’s longest-running syndicated newsmagazine. As a correspondent for INSIDE EDITION, she has covered politics, crime, breaking news, entertainment and the past four Super Bowls.  Alexander also provides analysis and commentary on various cable news programs and talk shows.

Previously, Alexander was an anchor and reporter for the CBS affiliate KENS-TV in San Antonio, Texas. She co-hosted the daily entertainment show “Great Day SA” and hosted the Belo home improvement show “Mi Casa Makeover.”

Before that, Alexander worked for Metro Networks and as a feature reporter for WZTV-TV’s “Tennessee Mornings” in Nashville, Tenn.

Alexander was born and raised in Seattle and graduated from Westmont College with a degree in Political Science and International Relations.
