"In the 4 years as your weekend morning meteorologist and weekday weather reporter I've been able to meet so many great people here in western Massachusetts," he said on Facebook. "I met my wife here, made great friends here and we've all been through many weather challenges together."

"I'm happy to stay I'll be staying here in western Massachusetts, but now as your Monday-Friday Weekday Morning Meteorologist!"

Nick has been the weekend morning meteorologist since joining WWLP in October 2010. He has also reported on weather and been on the 22News Green Team during the week.

Prior to joining WWLP, Nick spent two years as a meteorologist at WETM-TV NBC 18 in Elmira, NY, he was also an intern at the station while in college.

Nick was born in Bristol, England. He then moved to Manchester, England and became a die hard Manchester United supporter. At age 4, Nick relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio. It was there that he first developed his passion for weather, winter snow storms, and spring severe weather. Nick then moved back to England, just outside of London this time, at age 7, for one final stint as a Brit. At age 9, Nick returned to the USA for good.  He set down roots first in San Jose, California, and then in San Diego, which he considers home.

Nick is a 2008 graduate of Cornell University in Ithica, NY where he studied atmospheric sciences and meteorology, as well as applied economics and management.

Nick will continue in his weekend position with WWLP until a replacement is named.

"Thanks for allowing me into your homes every morning" Nick added, "I hope to meet and get to know more of you as I settle into this new position."
