WNAC-TV FOX Providence is warning its viewers that they may lose the channel if the station does not reach a new agreement with Full Channel Cable.

WNAC-TV FOX Providence is warning its viewers that they may lose the channel if the station does not reach a new agreement with Full Channel Cable.

According to a post on the stations website, the contract expires on October 21, 2016 at 6:00pm. If an agreement is not reached by then, Full Channel will have to legally drop FOX Providence from its lineup.

"Our stations are important assets to the local community. Without a fair agreement, we will not be able to provide the premiere news, sports, entertainment, weather, traffic updates, political coverage and other local and national programming that is most important to you" the station says on its website.

"Please call Full Channel and tell them you do not want to lose FOX Providence and all of your favorite programming. You should also let Full Channel know that you do not want to be charged for programming that you may not receive if an agreement is not reached. Full Channel’s phone number is 1-401-247-1250."

Full Channel cable serves the East Bay towns of Barrington, Warren, and Bristol, Rhode Island.
