The Pope is coming to America, and its as big of a story locally as it is nationally.
Even though the visit does not include any stops in New England, local reporters will be traveling to Washington, D.C., New York and Philadelphia to cover Pope Francis.
Due to the large Catholic populations in the region, Papal Visits have always been covered by the local news.
Most of the local coverage starts tomorrow, and here is who's covering the story in Boston and Providence. You can click on the image, and it will bring you to the special coverage page if the station has one.
