Matt Austin has joined WVIT-TV NBC Connecticut as a freelance general assignment reporter.
Matt joins NBC CT from WFFF-TV/WVNY-TV the Nexstar Broadcasting FOX/ABC stations in Brulington, VT where he had been a reporter since 2009.
Previously, Matt was a reporter/anchor at KRTV CBS 3 in Great Falls, MT and a reporter/anchor at KFBB-TV ABC/FOX also in Great Falls.
A native of Simsbury, CT, Matt is a 2003 graduate of Syracuse University where he studied broadcast journalism and international relations.
Matt started at NBC CT in October.
