Monica Madeja has joined New England Cable News in Boston as a reporter.
Monica joins NECN from WBRE-TV NBC 28/WYOU-TV CBS 22 in Scranton, PA where she was most recently the co-anchor of Eyewitness News Daybreak. She joined WBRE/WYOU in 2010 as a general assignment reporter, and was later the host of lifestyle program "PA Live!" During her time in Scranton, Monica was named one the the Top 25 Women in Business by the Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal.
She joined WBRE/WYOU from KRCG-TV CBS 13 in Jefferson City, MO where she was a morning anchor and reporter. Prior to that, she was a reporter and anchor at WDEL-AM 1150 radio in Wilmington, DE. She started her career at KYW-AM 1060 radio in Philadelphia, PA as a desk assistant.
A native of the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania, Monica is a 2006 graduate of Temple University where she studied broadcast journalism.
