Meteorologist Joe Joyce is joining the New Hampshire One News Network as Chief Meteorologist, New England One has learned.

The NH1 News Network broadcasts NH1 News on WBIN-TV, and on radio stations across New Hampshire.

As chief meteorologist, Joe will be forecasting the weather for the weekday evening shows and at 10pm. He takes over for Clayton Stiver, who is said to be returning to his position at WVIR-TV NBC 29 in Charlottesville, VA.

Joe tells New England One that "It is an honor to join this growing company which is looking to provide another choice to the residents of New Hampshire for Breaking News and Weather."

A certified meteorologist of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) with 18 years of weather forecasting experience, Joe comes to NH1 from New England Cable News.

This was Joe's second stint at NECN where he was most recently the mid-day meteorologist providing weekday forecasts from 10am-4pm at the NBCUniversal owned station.

He came back to NECN in 2013 after spending 3 years at WBZ-TV CBS 4 as a meteorologist and environmental reporter. In addition to forecasting the weather, and reporting weather or nature related stories, Joe also provided daily weather forecasts for WBZ News Radio.

Before WBZ, Joe spent almost 13 years as a weekend and weekday meteorologist at NECN. He also spent 2 years at WVII-TV ABC 7 in Bangor, ME.

A native of West Chester, PA, Joe is a 1995 graduate of Syracuse University where received a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. He is also a 2001 graduate of Mississippi State University where he received a Bachelor's degree in broadcast meteorology. In addition, he received a certificate in graphic and web design from American International College in 2009.

Joe starts at NH1 on Monday.
