"After 10 years, 3 cities cross country & a collection of lifelong friendships along the way... it's time to go back to the place that has always been "home" in my heart" Drew said on his Instagram page. "Boston, I'll see you in March for a new adventure at Fox 25" he said.
Drew joins FOX 25 from KHOU CBS 11 in Houston, Texas where he has been a general assignment reporter since 2012.
Before coming to Houston, Drew reported for KTNV-TV in Las Vegas. During his time in Sin City, Drew covered everything from breaking news to casino openings to high profile court cases.
Notable stories Drew reported on included the sentencing of O.J Simpson for robbery and kidnapping and the heist at the Bellagio. Drew provided continuing live coverage of the Tucson shooting rampage of 2011 in Arizona.
Drew also reported for the NBC affiliate in Green Bay, WI. It was during his interview there that he made his "break." Drew was sent to report live on a Tornado that touched down in a northern Wisconsin county.
Prior to his time in Wisconsin, Drew worked behind the scenes at WHDH-TV in Boston.
A Boston native, Drew is a graduate of the Northeastern University School of Journalism.
Drew starts at FOX 25 in March.
