Samantha Neely has been promoted to morning executive producer.

"Sam has done an admirable job filling in since the Fall, and has made a positive impact on both the content and culture in the morning" said LaPlante.

Prior to filling in on the morning newscasts, Sam was a producer at WBZ.

She has also worked as a producer at WHDH-TV, also in Boston.

Matthew Longfellow joins WBZ as the Weekend 6pm/11pm Producer.
