A WBZ Station spokesperson has confirmed a anchor shuffle to WBZ News This Morning.
After more than a year anchoring the weekend newscasts, Kate Merrill will be replacing Kerry Connolly on the weekday broadcast alongside David Wade.
Connolly will move back to the weekend morning newscasts joining current anchor Danielle Niles.
The shakeup comes shortly after News Director John Verrilli's ouster at the station which has been challenged with bad ratings.
