Following up on our story posted two weeks ago, former WCVB-TV news anchor Bianca de la Garza's new show is set to start airing on Saturday, January 24th at 11:35 PM ET.

'Bianca Unanchored' will be a weekly half-hour late-night lifestyle and entertainment TV show, and will be broadcast to nearly 3 million homes across New England on WCVB Boston, MA, WMUR in Manchester, NH, and WMTW in Portland, ME.

The show will be produced by de la Garza’s recently launched Lucky Gal Productions company and Embassy Row, which is a production unit owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Deirdre Connolly and John Jude Schultz of Embassy Row will serve as Executive Producers of the program, in which de la Garza interviews celebrities, dishes on pop culture, highlights hot spots and getaways in the Northeast, and features segments on dating, fitness, fashion, wellness and beauty trends. The pair also produce the 'Watch What Happens Live' show on cable network Bravo. The show will be taped in the Northeast and New York City in front of a live studio audience. Why it will not be shot in front of a studio audience in Boston is not known, as you would think you'd want a local audience for this show.

“I am working closely with Michael Davies and the team at Embassy Row to put together a fun, smart and enlightening show that will help our viewers live their lives to the fullest,” she said in a statement, adding that Dunkin’ Donuts has also come on board as a launch sponsor for Bianca Unanchored and would support the series through a range of advertising, social media promotions and in-store appearances by de la Garza.
