Kristine Johnson currently co-anchors the 5 p.m. & 11 p.m. news at the CBS owned and operated station in New York City.  She joined CBS 2 in the fall of 2006. Since then, she has been nominated for several Emmy Awards and had the honor of winning seven trophies.

Johnson started at WPRI as a news producer in 1994 and left as a weeknight anchor in 2004 to join MSNBC. She was a guest co-host on "The Talk" Monday, and was Johnson's third appearance as guest co-host, having first appeared on June 30, 2011. You can watch her appearance on Monday's "The Talk" here.

Erin Kennedy is co-anchor of WBBM-TV CBS 2 Chicago weekday morning news. She joined CBS 2 in May of 2014.

Kennedy was a weekday anchor & reporter (actually replacing Kristine Johnson) at WPRI from 2005-2011. She will be guest co-hosting on Thursday for the first time.

Both join hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler at the table.  Throughout the week, news anchors from five CBS Owned Stations around the country will be in Los Angeles to serve as guest co-hosts.

CBS’s "The Talk," recently nominated for five Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Talk Show-Entertainment and Outstanding Talk Show Host, features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities who examine current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, how-to demos and appearances from extraordinary people with stories that engage and inform. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.

"The Talk" airs weekdays at 2pm on WPRI 12, and other CBS stations in New England.
