Next month, Veria Living, the world’s largest health and wellness television network, will be changing its name to Z Living.  While the network’s focus on developing multi-media, healthy lifestyle and wellness programming will continue, it will do so using an internationally recognizable brand, Zee TV, as a result of the network’s growing global demand.

“Veria Living was founded in the U.S. to fill a void for positive and healthy lifestyle programming,” said Z Living CEO, Eric Sherman. “But the desire for this type of content, on a global level, far exceeded even our expectations.” In 2014, the Z Living linear channel will be launching in Eastern Europe, Russia, the Middle East and the Caribbean. By the year’s end, Z Living content will be available on every continent except Antarctica.

The decision to rebrand the network was based on aligning the health and wellness network with its largest programming affiliate and worldwide distribution partner, Zee Entertainment – a brand that has unmatched international awareness and appeal, reaching 730 million viewers across 169 countries.

The official Z Living roll out is slated for October 2nd 2014, beginning in the United States. The launch will include promotional TV spots, print advertising, and sponsorships with properties such as the Wanderlust Festival. The launch will also include a revamped website, featuring a health news desk, recipes, workout videos and articles on everything from better sex to weight loss. The website will also include a video on demand subscription service, Z Living GO.

In addition to investing in the new global brand identity, the network will continue to invest heavily in 100% original programming that embraces the original vision and strategy established under the Veria Living brand. This includes three October premieres – a new weekend morning block featuring the series premiere of children’s show Yogapalooza and new episodes of returning dance/fitness series BollyBlast; and season two of primetime series Good Food America with a new host, Chef Danny Boome.  Additionally, at least three series premieres are slated for early 2015: new series Fit, Famous & Fabulous, makeover show Natural Reboot, Natural Medicine Saved My Life and new seasons of Under the Sun, and Workout from Within.
