Crystal Hall has left her position as a general assignment reporter at WTIC-TV FOX 61 in Hartford, CT.

"I'm so grateful for the last 2.5 years I've had working alongside such talented people" she wrote on her Facebook page. "I've been blessed to be part of such an amazing team. You made this Texas girl feel right at home. Thank you to the viewers who let me share their stories and to those who welcomed me inside their living room television screen in the wee hours of the morning."

Crystal joined FOX CT in April 2013 as a multi-media journalist reporting on general assignment stories for FOX CT News at Ten. Most recently, she was a reporter for the stations morning newscasts.

Crystal says that she is "off in search of a new adventure, one that is still unfolding before me." The one thing she won't miss about FOX CT? "My 2 a.m. alarm clock. That I can do without."

Crystal joined FOX CT from KAUZ-TV CBS/CW 6 in Wichita Falls, TX, where she served as the weekend anchor and reporter for three years. In 2011 she was honored by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters as the Best Reporter (Division 4).

A native of Texas, Crystal is a graduate of the University of Texas as Austin. While there, she spent a semester serving as the university reporter for KTBC-TV 7, the FOX owned and operated station in Austin. She also spent three years leading the campus news station as news director for the student television station.

Active in the community, Crystal is a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters and sits on their Latino Advisory Council.

Crystal's last broadcast with FOX CT was on October 2.
