Lindsay Iadeluca is currently an anchor and reporter for Western Mass News on WGGB-TV ABC 40 & WSHM-LD CBS 3 in Springfield, MA.

Lindsay joined Western Mass News in 2014 from WBKB-TV in Alpena, MI, the areas CBS, FOX and ABC station. She wore a variety of hats at WBKB - reporting general and breaking news, producing and anchoring the 6pm & 11pm newscasts, and supervising the newsroom as news director. Lindsay has also interned for WJAR-TV in Providence, RI and for WRC-TV in Washington, D.C.

A native of Warwick, RI, Lindsay is a 2013 graduate of the University of Rhode Island where she studied communications and journalism.

1. What kind of phone do you have, and what are your favorite apps?
 iPhone and any sort of social media apps.

2. Favorite and least favorite news topics to cover (besides violent crime)?
 Favorite would be anything breaking or of high importance/concern of peoples.

 Least favorite, any sort of in the middle stories or annual ones like pot holes, parking etc.

3. If you weren't working in TV news, what would you be doing?
 A college professor

4. What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
 Spongebob!

5. When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
 Naps or relaxing with a glass of wine.

6. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
 Italy. A lot of my family is from there I’d like to go the different cities where my ancestors were from.

7. Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?
 Dead or alive? Peter Jennings hands down he’s my reason for becoming a journalist.

8. Do you collect anything?
 No

9. What are the top 3 played songs on your iPod?
 Sugar – Maroon 5

 Love you like that – Canaan Smith

10. What is one of your favorite quotes?
 Not one specifically really… But work hard and respect others.

11. What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?
 Any challenge that comes my way makes me stronger. I think they come big and small every day hard to pin one particular one down honestly especially in this career path. Poses lots of challenges personally and professionally.
