NBC 4 New York / WNBC today announced that news anchor Natalie Pasquarella has been named co-anchor of the station’s 11 PM newscast.

NBC 4 New York / WNBC today announced that news anchor Natalie Pasquarella has been named co-anchor of the station’s 11 PM newscast.

She joins co-anchor Chuck Scarborough in this new role, effective immediately.

Pasquarella co-anchors NBC New York’s 4 PM newscast with Stefan Holt and 6 PM newscast with Chuck Scarborough. She will continue in these existing roles, in addition to her new, permanent duties at 11 PM.

“Natalie is an incredibly hard-working journalist who lives and breathes NBC 4. She has established a wonderful bond with our viewers who are drawn to her professionalism and passion. I am thrilled that Natalie will continue serving our viewers in this new and exciting role,” said Susan Sullivan, Vice President of News, NBC 4 New York.

Joining NBC 4 New York last fall as the station’s weekend co-anchor and weekday reporter, Pasquarella became the station’s 4 PM co-anchor this past June. In August, she co-anchored NBC 4 New York’s Olympics special, “The Olympic Zone” with David Ushery, presenting highlights from the Rio Olympics. Pasquarella previously spent seven years at WSOC-TV in Charlotte, where she co-anchored the station’s weekday 5:30 PM and 10 PM newscasts.

“This is a great honor and I am humbled to join Chuck Scarborough as co-anchor of the 11 PM newscast,” said Pasquarella. “We have an incredible news team at NBC 4 New York that sets the standard for broadcast news excellence. I am thrilled to take on this new role, and will continue working with the NBC 4 New York team to deliver the stories that matter most to our community.”

A native of Steubenville, Ohio, Pasquarella received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Kent State University’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She was recently honored by the School with its prestigious “Fast Track Award”, recognizing alumni who have made significant strides early in their career.
