NBC 4 New York / WNBC today announced the return of Stacey Bell as a full-time anchor, effective Monday, October 17.
She will serve as co-host of the station’s 12 PM and 5 PM weekday newscasts, along with David Ushery.
Bell previously served as NBC 4 New York’s weekend anchor between 2014 and 2015. In recent months, Bell returned to the station and served as a weekend anchor on a freelance basis.
“Stacey is the consummate professional who enjoys the trust and admiration of our viewers. She is also a great person. I’m thrilled to welcome Stacey back on a full-time basis and know that she will help take our noon and 5 pm shows to a new and exciting level,” said Susan Sullivan, NBC 4 New York Vice President of News.
Prior to joining NBC 4 New York, Bell served as an anchor for News 12 Long Island between 2012 and 2014. She arrived in New York following thirteen years at WJW Fox 8 in Cleveland, where she served as a reporter and anchor.
Bell holds a bachelor's degree in mass communications from the University of Central Arkansas.
